After strong victories in the quarters and semis, OBs were in the final versus Ealing Trailfinders 1871 - the amateur arm of the Championship club who were only denied promotion to the premiership on (silly) rules about stand size.

It was a great encounter, played on 4G - favouring the fast flowing rugby both sides enjoy.

OB's were on the front foot when the final whistle was blown - their youthful team starting to outpace the mixture of youth and experience of the Trailfinders' experience, but the silverware deservedly went to Ealing with a 28-24 victory.

After OB's finished in their highest ever league position this year, and reached the finals of this prestigious Cup, it leaves us with the potential to go one better on each count next season where we will have had a full season and prep under new prestigious Head Coach Andy Bell.
