2025/26 marks the clubs Centenary season. Whilst the current players, both senior and minis and juniors, boys and girls are the current lifeblood of our incredible club, those of us who came before them should be rightfully proud of the part, large, small or in some cases oversized that we have all played in making the OBs the fantastic club we all know it to be.

First of all if you are reading this it means that we at least have a current email for you which is a good start. If you are happy to continue to receive info that's great. Should you wish to be taken off the list for whatever reason please let John know. And if we have anyone we have missed then please invite them into the group. So far we have over 170 on the list which is fantastic.

So how can we all help in celebrating this landmark season

1. Sign up for the 100 Club

This has so far raised over £15000 for the club over the years with funds going to the club redevelopment fund.

Tickets are just £5 per month (standing order) . The draw is held monthly with prizes of £100, £50 and £25 at stake. Contact Tristan for more details

2. Past Players and Sponsors lunches.

The first of this season was on Sat 18th October - it was a real success and another will follow in the New Year - more details to follow - if you can't make this one.

3. Come up and support your club on a Saturday afternoon.

We know weekends are often busy times but if you can negotiate a few hours off chores, how about coming up to Failand to support the teams. The season start is just round the corner so check out the fixture list here https://www.obrfc.co.uk/ and get yourself up to Failand. We know the teams massively appreciate the support.

4. Centenary Dinner/Dance - save the date - Provisionally Sat April 11th 2025

Early planning has already started and more details will follow but save the date for now, for you and your favourite plus one!! It is guaranteed to be a date not to miss and will involve the whole club.

We look forward to seeing many of you throughout the season and to reminiscing, and no doubt romanticising and elaborating all our past endeavours at Fortress Failand, the streets of Clifton and far far beyond !!!
