After losing out in the final of the Papa Johns Cup last year, OB's went one better this year to win the Bristol Combination Cup - beating Winscombe who sit in the league above.
Although OBs have won several Combination Vases in recent times, this is the first time OBs have won the Cup in 50 years, and is tribute to the impact of the hard work put in, and the high-standards ethos of their recent coach signing Andy Bell.

The Bristol Combination Butcombe Cup Final saw a half-dozen cards shown, but was nevertheless an exciting affair as a muscular Winscombe came back towards the end, but OBs, who had played the better rugby throughout, held on for a 21-14 victory at Clifton RFC on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

This is the second time that Old Bristolians have won the final, having beaten Old Redcliffians in the 1974/75 season; a fitting end to the 100 years of Old Bristolians' existence.
