OB winners in mud bath encounter

If you wanted mud, Widden had it! Not that it stopped both teams playing a running game. With uncontested scrums we had more in the legs to run through the muddy soup but I think there will be some tired players tonight.
We put Andy at inside centre and saw some destructive work but also some slick passing and offloading in the tackle. With Bertie's direction the back line made ground, tackled well and gave Benny space to use his ever increasing pace and strength to score 3 tries. Along with his support work and tackling Benny deserved his Man of the Match award.
The forwards dominated through their fitness, strength at the breakdown and rampaging runs with close support. Rob, Westy and Will grafted at the breakdown, Tom and Oscar threw themselves into the tackles and Scott, Jacob and Jimmy never let their opposite numbers into the game. Great to see Jimmy Dun back in OB colours and scoring a try too.
