Instructions
Please meet at Winscombe RFC at 10.15am on Sunday 3rd October - they are about 45mins away so please allow for travel time (sorry for the early start!)
We will be running 3 games sequentially, with everyone playing a minimum of one full game. Depending on numbers, some may play more. When not playing, individuals will be both continuing to practice by the side of the pitch and supporting their team mates on the pitch. Please ensure every child has enough kit to keep them warm when not playing - much better to be too warm than too cold!!
I have already spoken to the Winscombe coaches, and in order to support the needs of both the more and less experienced players, we will be picking sides based broadly on ability so that players will be playing against suitable opposition and the less experienced players get more chance to get themselves involved. We will play as the Sharks, Tigers and Falcons, with teams to be confirmed on the day.
This will involve a lot of pre work (you may be familiar with the 7 P's - "prior planning & preparation prevents p*ss poor performance") so please doodle your availability sooner rather than later at http://www.doodle.com/kgxunn2w6r7z8kk7

You should all have registered and paid by now. Remember there is a "no pay, no play" policy this season

Food will be provided afterwards for all players/coaches - kids will need a clean tracksuit to wear if it has been wet/muddy to avoid trampling mud in to the clubhouse. Please make the effort to stay and mix with your team mates, parents & the opposition
During the match there will be facilities to buy hot/cold drinks, bacon butties etc
NO DOGS are allowed on or around the pitches
If you do not have the club kit yet, then please come in alternative rugby kit (ideally with a green shirt!) and we will look to either swap around between teams or use the yellow bibs. Please note that you cannot play in tracksuit bottoms.
