After conceding an early try and penalty, Captain Mike Barton opened the scoring with a try which was converted by new fly half Keir Chastney.
It wasn’t until the second half that OBs scored again, this time after a multiphase attack with Jon Whiteman putting Lyndon Davies over for a try. Keir Chastney again adding the conversion.
As OBs obtain some control over the match. Steve Forster raced in for a fantastic solo effort to round off the scoring.
OBs lacked some discipline in the final quarter, with Tim Westray and Michael Jones being sent to the sin bin.
OBs will face either Southmead, Bishopston, or the winner of St Bernadettes v’s Bristol Saracens on the 11th February 2012 in the semi final.
This weekend sees a top of the table clash with OBs hosting Bristol Saracens, and due to fixture congestion, the game is also a double header as the sides were drawn in the Gloucestershire Senior Vase Semi Final.
