The trial game was four 2o minute periods and allowed all players to have game time and for the coaches to view how the players took the pre-season training into a match situation.
Old Bristolians played well, with the forwards showing the scrummaging and lineout practise has really paid off, and the teams general fitness was excellent, much down to the efforts of Ben Morris and Ronan Fleming.
Tries were scored by Jon Whiteman (x2), Jimmy Adams, Tom Keen and Joel Keen and Jack Price kicked a couple of conversions.
Man of the match went to Jimmy Adams for excellent scrummaging and tireless work in the loose.
