On a sunny day with good pitch conditions OB's scored 4 tries to get back to winning ways after 3 consecutive losses.
Playing up the field OB's had the better of the opening exchanges and looked as if they would have the advantage up front. However, poor midfield discipline allowed Yatton to open the scoring with a penalty.
Sustained pressure by the OB'S forwards gave a good platform to pressure Yatton which resulted in a penalty for Jack Price
That forward pressure allowed OB's to get a rolling mauling moving from the 22. It was taken to ground short of the line but a quick pass to the blindside allowed Jack Price to crash over with the conversation missed.
Yatton came back into the game with some good counter attacking and poor discipline from OB's midfield allowed them the score two further penalties which resulted in the halftime score being 9-8 to Yatton.
With the second half under way OB's started to get some line breaks and good off loading allowed Roman Lagnado to cross from short range for his first 1XV try.
Another swift attacking move allowed Dan Evans over in the corner but in the blustery conditions Jack Price couldn't convert either try.
OB's were now chasing the bonus point and after fending off a period of Yatton pressure for only the loss of 3 points a further period of OB's forward pressure allowed a series of line out takes which OB's tried to maul over the line. After numerous infringements by Yatton, a scrum was called for and the dominance OB's had shown all afternoon caused a further infringement and the referee went under the sticks to award the penalty try and the bonus pout was secured, Jack Price slotting the conversion.
A Decent afternoons work after recent disappointments and OB's look forward to an away trip to Keynsham next week
