On Tuesday night two OB's were honoured at the Bristol Bears end of season dinner

Harry Ascherl capped a fine year by being named the Bears young player of the season. It's amazing to think that less than two years ago he was playing for our U16s and this season he has been playing with George Smith. Our congrats go to Harry on this fantastic achievement..
At the other end of the age range Rich Berry, our President, was awarded the Bristol Bears Combination Volunteer of the Year. Craig Capel, Bears Community Foundation Manager, praised Rich in presenting his award for his work as the GRFUs Mental Health & Wellbeing Ambassador in raising awareness around the issue and supporting coaches to help build healthy young people. Since Christmas Rich has carried out presentations across the South West reaching over 300 coaches.

In other news Andy Christie, former OBs mini & junior player made his debut for England Under 20's last month & his Premiership debut for Saracens against Worcester in the last game of the season. Well done Andy!!
