1st team go down in horrendous conditions

OB's went into this game with the opportunity for the winner to leapfrog Chew to move into 3rd spot in Western Counties North. This game was rearranged from earlier in the season due to a mix up when the referee failed to show.
With a number of key players missing due to the holiday weekend it was always going to be a tough day at the office. Forecast weather conditions prevailed to have a significant affect on the game. Strong winds, hail and driving rain meant that OBs running game was extremely limited. With these limitations in mind OBs did well to contain a well disciplined Stroud side and limit them to 3 unconverted tries.
OBs will hope for improved weather conditions when they travel to Stroud in the reverse fixture in two weeks time.
