After a slow start, comms and tempo increased massively leading to awesome defence. Set piece was strong and gave a great platform for the backs to play with clean ball. Some outstanding kicking from Rory and ball hunting kept the pressure on and we were rewarded with some excellent tries.

Discipline wasn’t great and we gave away a lot of penalties, territory and yellow cards. However, an amazing team performance with some individual people really grafting got us the win.

OBs 32 - 20 Clevedon

The 3rd XV put out a confident showing against a strong Tewkesbury side. The oppo arrived 20 minutes before kick off and a well drilled warm up paid dividends for OBs as we scored 2 early tries. A further 4 in the first half left the result beyond doubt but Tewkesbury answered back with 3 of their own in the second half. Plenty to work on, but overall a very encouraging match leading up to a huge weekend.

BoP goes to Slammy for some big running in the loose with honourable mentions for Coughlan and Jack Price. DotD has to go to Giddings for an attempted drop goal; attempted being the key word!
