Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults
At Old Bristolians we take the safeguarding and protection of your child very seriously. As such all adults working with children at Old Bristolians is DBS checked. The club presently has 58 coaches, helpers and administrators with enhanced DBS checks.
The Club Safeguarding Officer is Rich Berry, as well as being a Headteacher, with a wealth of Safeguarding experience, Rich has also completed the RFUs Club Safeguarding & Welfare Officers training. In addition to Rich being qualified at least one coach in each age group has completed a play it safe RFU course. Those others that haven't are encouraged to do so.
