The Club has a long history of supporting Good Causes.
A key champion of this was Robbie Stuart, who tragically passed away in November 2008. A club stalwart and also the man who brought Brizzly bear to life for Fans at Bristol RFC for years, it was typical of him that even while battling leukemia he continued his charity work, organising the legendary 2008 Dodge Ball competion amongst others - raising thousands for CLIC Sargent, a fantastic charity that the Club maintans a strong connection with. http://www.clicsargent.org.uk
The Club continues Robbie's great work, and since Robbie's passing, the club has raised almost £200,000 for CLIC.
Fund raising includes:
- Rowing the Channel 2013 - a feat fewer people have achieved than climbing Everest!
- Charity fancy dress workouts
- Fancy Dress Marathon
- Wild West parties
- 24Seven endurance racing
- Annual charity games
- Bristol's first Dodgeball Cup
